I had a delightful experience staying at this ryokan on Miyajima Island. The views from the rooms were breathtaking, and the dinner service was a culinary adventure with an impressive number of dishes. However, the Wi-Fi situation could be inconvenient, as it’s only available in the lobby. The furnishings in the rooms felt a bit dated, and that took away from the overall feel of luxury, but the charm of the ryokan made up for it.
We had a lovely honeymoon experience at this hotel, thanks to its perfect location and stunning views of the water. The kaiseki dinners were out of this world, and the breakfast options catered wonderfully to both Japanese and Western tastes. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. However, the decor was a bit dated, and it would have been nice to have more modern facilities.

We had a truly memorable family vacation at this ryokan, with its fantastic location just a short walk from the ferry and the iconic Torii of Miyajima. The dining experience was exceptional with a variety of delicious dishes served every night, but the Wi-Fi only being available in the lobby was a bit inconvenient. The rooms were a comfortable blend of traditional and modern, and while the furnishings could use an update, the overall experience was worth the price.
While the hotel has a charming setup with traditional accommodations and a great onsen, my experience started off on a disappointing note during check-in. I enjoyed the food and the peaceful atmosphere of Miyajima, but there were some drawbacks, such as limited breakfast hours and being locked in at night, which prevented me from enjoying the starry skies.
